Ayurvedic Summer Spice mix
Ayurveda describes herbs and spices as having preventative properties. If used correctly they can help promote a balanced digestion. Dry roasting herb before boosts taste and their health and wellness properties.
This Summer blend is light and fresh and can be added to any meal to help balance digestion.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp Fennel seeds
3 tbsp Cumin seeds
3 tbsp Coriander seeds
1 tbsp Cardamom pods or ground Cardamom
Method:
Over a very low / medium heat dry roast the cumin, fennel and coriander seeds until they release an aroma. Remove from heat and cool then add these spices into a grinder or pestle and mortar together with the cardamom. Blend for a few seconds then store in an airtight glass jar.
