CCF Tea

This classic healing tea supports sluggish digestion helping to reduce inflammation in the body.  CCF (Cumin, Coriander and Fennel) tea is also known as the miracle tea, flushing out ama (toxic waste).  The combination of the three spices helps to aid absorption of nutrients and stimulates the lymphatic system. 

  

Recipe

½ tsp Cumin seeds

½ tsp Coriander seeds

½ tsp fennel seeds

A few sprigs of mint leaves (Summer) 

2 cups of water

Add the seeds to hot water boiling over a high heat in a steel pot.  Allow the tea to boil for 5 – 10 mintues.  Strain out the seeds, let the tea cool, place in a insulated flask and sip throughout the day.  During the Summer I like to add a frew sprigs of mint to make it more fragrant but also for its cooling and refreshing properties.
